Terms of Use

1. License Grant

Upon purchase of a valid license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to:

• Install and use the Software on devices you own or control
• Use the Software for personal or commercial purposes
• Receive updates and new features as they become available

This license is perpetual - you pay once and can use the Software indefinitely, including all future updates.

2. Pricing and Payment

Your purchase includes:

• Perpetual license to use MCP Connect
• All future updates and new features at no additional cost
• Access to all current and future integrations
• Support for Windows, macOS, and Linux (as platforms become available)

3. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
• Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws
• Share your license key with others or use it on devices you do not own
• Create derivative works based on the Software
• Use the Software to develop competing products

4. License Activation

Your license may be activated on a reasonable number of devices that you personally own or control. If you need to transfer your license to a new device, you may deactivate it from the old device first. Excessive activations may result in temporary suspension pending verification.

5. Updates and Support

Your license includes:

• Automatic Updates: New versions are delivered automatically through the built-in updater
• New Features: All new integrations and features are included at no extra cost
• Bug Fixes: We actively maintain and fix issues in the Software
• Platform Support: Access to new platform releases (macOS, Linux) as they become available

Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis through our GitHub repository and support channels. We do not guarantee response times or resolution of all issues.

6. Third-Party Services

MCP Connect enables connections to third-party services (Stripe, GitHub, Firebase, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services
• Any damages resulting from your use of third-party services
• Changes to third-party APIs that may affect functionality
• Your compliance with third-party terms of service

7. Data and Security

You are solely responsible for:

• The security of your API keys and credentials
• Backing up your configuration files
• Using appropriate access controls on third-party services
• Any actions taken through MCP servers using your credentials

We recommend using test/development credentials when possible and always maintaining proper backup procedures.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Software, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

11. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate your license if you:

• Violate any provision of these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent license usage
• Attempt to circumvent license protections

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies.

12. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Software, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, all sales are final. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the application or email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
